The device has a shoulder carrier (st) fixed around a neck or over the shoulder of a user, and a torso carrier (rt) fixed around the torso of the user, where the device is attached on the shoulder through the carriers. The carriers are connected with each other and provided with a closure (vs). The closure of the carriers is fastened around the torso when the user wears the device in a rear half of a body or in a region of a spinal column. The closure is arranged between breast cups (bk). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a device for supporting, shaping and/or covering a breast.
