The charger (1) has a turbocharger housing (14) divided in to housing halves (10, 12) in a longitudinal direction. The housing halves are directed or aligned to each other by a fitting groove in one of the halves and a mating hole in another housing halve. The halves are bolted with each other by the mating hole and the fitting groove. The mating hole forms a transition fit, an interference fit or a clearance with an alignment pin or alignment bolt, which are received in the fitting groove. The housing in integrated in a cylinder head (3) of an internal combustion engine.
