The sensor (1) has liquid-permeable electrodes (4, 5) extended over surface of a three-dimensional carrier structure (7) e.g. ball package, in a flat manner. A part of the carrier structure is closed by two sides, so that gas composition flows from the two electrodes and the carrier structure and from exhalant (3), which contains breath condensate (2) in a liquid-permeable manner. A surface of the carrier structure is coated with a water-storage coating (9). The breath condensate is stored in the water-storage coating. The electrodes are designed as fabrics or perforated plates. The carrier structure is selected from a group consisting of composite material, sintered material, filter material, plastic foam, metallic foam, ceramic foam or organic foam, fiber-containing fabric and three-dimensional honeycomb structure. The water-storage coating is designed as squeezing hydrogel or squeezing super absorber.
