The winglet has a surface element (6) upwardly and/or downwardly bent against a lift surface (4) and tiltable around a drag axis (22) between operating position and non-operating position with a longitudinal extension. The extension is aligned in incident-flow direction, and the drag axis lies in span direction of the lift surface. A slewing mechanism (12) is coupled with an adjustment mechanism (18) of a lifting aid (20) such that the winglet is turned around during adjustment of the lift aid in lift-increasing operating position.
