Electric motor-driven parking brake for use in motor vehicle, has controllers controlling respective motors by three half-bridge circuits, where both motors are attached at common half bridge circuit
The brake has two motors (M1, M2) for operating the brake of a motor vehicle, and controllers for controlling the motors. The controllers control the respective motors by three half-bridge circuits (H1-H3), where both the motors are attached at the common half bridge circuit (H1). Each half-bridge circuit is provided with two switches (S1-S6) i.e. FETs, that are arranged in series. The switches are integrated in a control device. The control device is a part of a vehicle controller i.e. electronic stability program control device.
