The injector has a solenoid operated actuator module (2) and a coupler module (25) arranged in a support body (1). A valve plate (9) is arranged between the coupler module and a throttle plate (11). The valve plate comprises a valve that is operated by the coupler module. A valve bolt (4) forms a sealing surface (7) with a seat surface (8) of the valve plate. A seal bushing (5) is arranged under a formation of a valve chamber (10) that surrounds the valve bolt and the seal bushing such that high pressure strength of the valve chamber is optimized.
