The arrangement has a scraper-type blade (5) extending in a transverse direction of a roller (6) or metal belt cycle and detachably arranged in a surface of the roller or belt cycle during normal operation of a fibrous web (W). The blade is attached at a blade holder (7), and has pressure pipes (2, 3) for guiding the fibrous web using rapid-motion against the surface of the roller or belt cycle. The blade has a supporting element (4) arranged at carrier beams (1) that are connected with supporting structures.
