The system (T) has operating units vertically arranged in sieving, base sorting, fine sorting, secondary crushing and precrushing- and collecting levels (A-E). The unit in the sieving level diverts components from an input material flow and/or unsorted residue flow, where the components are transferred to one of the remaining levels and/or a base level (G).
