The guide roller-pivot bearing comprises a shaft rotatably mounted into a metal melt in rolling bearing devices (7 2) by using shaft ends (6). The protective coating is a hard alloy based on cobalt-chromium, and is a bush arranged in a rotationally fixed manner. The bush is kept at the shaft ends by a clamping element. In axial direction, a bearing plate that consists of ceramic material is provided opposite to the shaft ends. The rim element is formed as a removable rim element, where it is provided as safety ring at the external ring. A distance is provided between the internal ring and the protective coating. A displaceability of the shaft ends is ensured in both axial directions.
