The sterilizer has a partial vaporization and drive device for partial vaporization and driving of a biocidal liquid from a vertical biocidal liquid reservoir (1). The vaporization and drive device is emerged from a circular vortex (6). The vortex has a return pipe (8) extended to the reservoir. The vortex has a vapor pipe (7) that is arranged opposite to the return pipe and enters into enclosed volume. The vaporization and drive device is constituted of a branch pipe (3) that evacuates the liquid to a compressed air spray nozzle (4) behind which an expansion tube (5) is placed. An independent claim is also included for a method for sterilization of a closed volume by a sterilizer.
