Ensemble transport interface reception interface device's signal processing method for digital multimedia broadcasting transmission system, involves adding and coding reference time information with generated state information data

The method involves detecting a signal reception state from an ensemble transport interface (ETI) signal by an ETI reception interface device (100), and accessing a synchronous detection state from the signal. The state information data reflecting the content change is generated, whenever change occurs in the reception and detection states. The reference time information of the reference duration is added and coded with the ETI frame data which are extracted from the signal. The reference time information of the reception duration is added and coded with the generated state information data. An independent claim is also included for an ensemble transport interface (ETI) reception interface device comprising a receiver, a frame detector, a state information generator and a set of reception units.
