The method involves arranging two active or passive antennas (3) with signatures at a distance of 5 cm on or near a trunk of a person (5) for forming a horizontal segment. An ultrasound, microwave and ultra large band receiver and transmitter (2) is coupled to a signal processing and measuring central part to transmit or send back a signal to the receiver/transmitter to realize temporal-spatial analysis by positioning of the segment at time. An independent claim is also included for a device for monitoring activity and falling of people by analyzing a temporal- spatial position of a trunk.
