The clamp (10) has a body (10a) formed by two hinged arms (11, 12) articulated around an articulation axle (A). The arms respectively have jaws (13, 14) at one end and handles (15, 16) at another end. A pad is mounted on the jaws via a ball-and-socket joint e.g. shaft (21), such that the pad ensures effective contact between the clamp and a part to be tested, and separates the body of the clamp from a listening part of the pad. The clamp is made of rigid plastic material, and the pad is made of hard plastic material. An independent claim is also included for a vibroacoustic diagnosis tool comprising a cushion head and a microphone.
