PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately apply a seal material to a large glass substrate in a highly fine pattern.SOLUTION: This paste application head includes a master paste storage cylinder 23 having a large capacity and a slave paste storage cylinder 24 having a small capacity. A large amount of paste is stored in the master paste storage cylinder 23. In the slave paste storage cylinder 24, when a paste pattern is drawn in the glass substrate, paste stored in the slave past storage cylinder is discharged from a nozzle 22. When a storage amount of paste in the slave paste storage cylinder 24 is reduced, a gate valve 30 is opened to make the master paste storage cylinder 23 and the slave paste storage cylinder 24 communicate with each other via a paste terminal flow passage 27 so as to replenish the slave paste storage cylinder 24 with the paste in the master paste storage cylinder 23.
