APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TREATING CHLORINE BYPASS EXHAUST GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat chlorine bypass exhaust gas while reducing an initial cost and operating cost as well as a heat loss.;SOLUTION: An apparatus 1 for treating chlorine bypass exhaust gas includes: a probe 3 for bleeding a part G1 of the combustion gas from a kiln waste gas flow passage extending from the inlet of a cement kiln 2 to a lowermost-stage cyclone, and cooling the bled combustion gas by a low-temperature gas; a dust collection unit 6 which is used for collecting the dust D2 contained in the gas bled by the probe and has heat resistance of at least 250°C and preferably 300°C; and a dry desulfurization unit 8 arranged in the subsequent stage of the dust collection unit. In the dry desulfurization unit, the gas discharged from the dust collection unit can be desulfurized by using a dry desulfurizing agent. A filter-type electric dust collector can be used as the dust collection unit. It is preferable that the temperature of the dust-collected bled gas is controlled to ≥250°C, preferably, in the range of 300-600°C.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
