PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a traffic guide and a gatekeeper at an entrance gate to easily and safely identify only construction vehicles entering from the entrance gate among vehicles traveling on an open road.;SOLUTION: A vehicle identification information notification apparatus comprises an individual number acquisition device which acquires an individual number of an ETC on-board unit provided to a vehicle traveling on a road at a desired distance from an entrance for allowing a vehicle to enter a specific place, a discrimination device which discriminates vehicle identification information on the vehicle from the acquired individual number of the ETC on-vehicle unit, and a notification device which gives notice of the vehicle identification information. The discrimination device comprises a storage unit which stores the individual number of the ETC on-vehicle unit and the vehicle identification information on the vehicle in a pair, and a discrimination unit which makes a comparison so as to determine whether the individual number of the ETC on-vehicle unit acquired by the individual number acquisition device matches the individual number of the ETC on-vehicle unit stored in the storage unit.
