PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil moisture sensor and a soil moisture measurement system capable of highly accurately and continuously measuring water content and depth of water permeation of underground soil.;SOLUTION: The soil moisture sensor for detecting soil water content comprises: a cylindrical housing of which one surface is closed and the other surface is opened; a pair of electrodes provided to a side wall of the housing; and a partition member which is arranged so as to occupy one cross section of the housing, and has openings each of which is smaller than a soil grain constituting the soil.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
