PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image reading device for facilitating reading work of a radiation image and capable of accurately reading an image recording body on a fixed reference plane at a high resolution, and to provide a film-like holder and a method for reading a radiation image.;SOLUTION: A radiation image reading device 100 for reading an image from an image recording body in which a radiation image is recorded includes: a support section 110 that supports a film-like holder to which the image recording body is retained and slides when reading the image; a holder covering section 120 whose one end is fixed onto the support section 110 and whose free-end side covers the film-like holder; a holder fixing section 127 that is connected to the free end of the holder covering section 120 and fixes the film-like holder to the support section; a guide section 130 that coincides, with a reference curved plane, a surface of the image recording body that slides when reading the image; and a reading section that reads the radiation image from the surface of the image recording body that is coincided with the reference curved plane.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
