PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly remove chlorine as treating a lot of incineration ash.;SOLUTION: This washing method includes: a pulverization step of converting incineration ash into incineration ash slurry by adding water to the incineration ash and stirring it while crushing particles in the incineration ash; an foreign body removal step of making the incineration ash slurry pass through a selecting sieve 25 to remove excessively large solid bodies; a dewatering step of dewatering the incineration ash slurry passing through the selecting sieve 25 by a water draining sieve 27; and a rinse step of rinsing the incineration ash passing through the dewatering step.
