PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an employment environment evaluation format for objectively evaluating employment environment of an organization expanding social activities for profit or nonprofit purpose, and a method for ranking the employment environment using the employment environment evaluation format.;SOLUTION: There is provided an employment environment evaluation format for evaluating an employment environment of an organization to be evaluated when a ranking organization ranks the employment environment of the organization to be evaluated. The format includes two or more evaluation item groups among evaluation item groups consisting of (1) an evaluation item group associated with salary, (2) an evaluation item group associated with working conditions other than the salary, (3) an evaluation item group associated with health, welfare, and pension, (4) an evaluation item group associated with training and ability development, (5) an evaluation item group associated with man and woman employment opportunities, (6) an evaluation item group associated with workplace environment and working environment, (7) an evaluation item group associated with diversity in employment style, and (8) an evaluation item group associated with general matters of the organization to be evaluated.
