PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a life testing apparatus for portable terminals with sliding mechanism having high accuracy of a life test and inexpensively performing the test.;SOLUTION: A pusher base 4 is moved in a left direction of Figure, so that the end of a pusher 1 connected to the pusher base 4 is brought into contact with one end of an upper housing 100 by a spring 3 to push the upper housing 100 in the left direction of Figure. When the pusher 1 pushes the upper housing 100 in the left direction, a load corresponding to a sliding resistance in a sliding mechanism which connects the upper housing 100 to a lower housing 101 is applied to the upper housing 100. The spring 3 is compressed according to the load (the sliding resistance). When the sliding resistance exceeds a standard value, a sensor 6 detects it. The sensor 6 (or 6a) detects that the load (the sliding resistance) exceeds the standard value during the life test.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
