PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that facilitates piercing holes of diameter of 1 mm to 15 mm with high accuracy, by raising and lowering the piercing bar capable of being heated to a high temperature, in a position of piercing a material of a product (hereinafter referred to as "workpiece") while fixing the piercing bar with a tapered contour which can be heated to the high temperature to a robot distal end tool.;SOLUTION: The high temperature piercing bar 5 fixed to a movable member is stabbed into the workpiece 8 and the hole with the same diameter as the maximum diameter of the contact part of the high temperature piercing bar is melted and pierced.
