PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting tool for changing a fluorescent lamp such as a public street lamp into an LED lamp, the connecting tool facilitating a wiring work by housing cut-off wires in a socket of a dismounted glow lamp and connecting the rest of wires themselves through it in changing a conventional fluorescent lamp lighting fixture into an LED lighting fixture.;SOLUTION: The connecting tool 9a is provided with a base part 18 of the same shape as that of a glow lamp 2 of the fluorescent lamp lighting fixture 1, and the base part 18 is structured of a screw part 16 and a tip end part 17. The connecting tool 9a is insertion-fitted into an empty socket 36 of the glow lamp 2 with the base part 18. The screw part 16 and the tip end part 17 are also to be a contact point with another electric element outside the connecting tool 9a. Furthermore, a cover 15 is attached to the screw part 16 in free detachment, from an upper part of which a connecting wire 14 is extended.
