PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple, costless, and highly reliable method of using a pH meter for water quality monitoring.;SOLUTION: This method of using a pH meter 1 for water quality monitoring is characterized by using the pH meter 1 for water quality monitoring and a pH meter 3 for reference at the same time in a waste water treatment installation, determining an indicated value of the pH meter 1 to be incorrect and performing its cleaning in cases where a difference between indicated values of the two pH meters is not less than a prescribed value, and making do with the pH meter 3 for a water quality monitoring function while the cleaning is performed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
