PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor node power predictive control device which predicts the future amount of sunlight based on the environment information data acquired over the past period by surrounding sensor nodes which have been installed in many numbers, for operation control of the sensor nodes, to control power consumption of the sensor node.;SOLUTION: The power predictive control device of a sensor node is driven by the electric power that is charged in a battery using the electric power generated by a solar battery that constitutes a sensor network. It includes means for selecting a sensor node which is an object, means for predicting future amount of sunlight at the point where the sensor node is arranged based on the environment information data acquired by the sensor node as well as sensor nodes arranged on the periphery of the sensor node, and means for acquiring a remaining electric energy in the battery which drives the sensor node. The amount of power consumption of the sensor node is controlled by setting the operation cycle of the sensor node or the number of environment information data acquired by the sensor node, based on the predicted amount of sunlight and the acquired remaining electric energy.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
