PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately recognize a target object by seriously considering voting from a highly reliable set of areas corresponding to the attitude of the target object.SOLUTION: The learning method of a detector which detects a target object includes: a selection process of selecting a plurality of specific areas from the already known three-dimensional model of the target object; a learning process of learning the detector which detects the specific area selected in the selection process; an evaluation process of performing the recognition processing of the position and attitude of a predetermined area among the plurality of specific areas by the detector learnt in the learning process; and a normalization process of setting voting weight with respect to the output of the detector according to the recognizing accuracy of the result of the recognition processing in the evaluation process.
