PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure processing device capable of optimally identifying a failure point.SOLUTION: An information processing device includes a detection/correction unit 3, a failure log control unit 5, a diagnosis control unit 4, a diagnosis unit 6, and a management control unit 8. The detection/correction unit 3 detects and corrects an error in data read out from a memory 1 and outputs error information. The failure log control unit 5 manages the error information as failure log information by each of plural failure occurrence factors. The diagnosis control unit 4 refers to the failure log information to output failure notification when an occurrence frequency of the error due to any of the plural failure occurrence factors reaches a threshold. The diagnosis unit 6 obtains the failure log information until the occurrence frequency reaches the threshold from the failure log control unit 5 in response to the failure notification.
