An explanatory broadcasting text candidate presentation device 6 not merely presents program videos and outputs program voices but also presents the program script with a time code. When an explanation insertion direction is input in accordance with a user's operations, the explanatory broadcasting text candidate presentation device 6, based on the time when the direction has been input, extracts explanatory broadcasting text candidates available within a preset time range from an explanatory broadcasting text candidate storage device 5 and displays them on a screen for the user.
