PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To verify circuit design at high speed.SOLUTION: A circuit design support device 1 includes a storage part 1a, a selection part 1b, a trace part 1c, and a control part 1d. The storage part 1a stores circuit connection information 2 of a circuit. The selection part 1b selects, from the circuit connection information 2, a storage element for holding an input signal input from an input terminal and outputting the signal from an output terminal on the basis of a clock signal. The trace part 1c traces logical connection from the input terminal of the selected storage element in a direction opposite to a signal propagation direction on the basis of the circuit connection information 2. The control part 1d stops tracing by the trace part 1c when the number of input terminals of an element reached by tracing the logical connection by the trace part 1c is two or larger.
