PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traverse device and a dividing/uniting system that can make a monorail car traveling by a rack-pinion drive method travel on a branch rail branched from a main rail.;SOLUTION: In a traverser device 10 for running a traveling vehicle 11 that travels on main rails 91, 92 directly travels on a main rail 92 through a main rail 46 on a carriage or travels on a branch rail 102 branched from a main rail 91 through a branch 47 on the carriage by reciprocating the carriage 30, the main rail 46 on the carriage and the branch rail 47 on the carriage include slide rails 45a and 45b branched to a main rail 48 and the mail rail 91 sides segmented into a prescribed length, respectively, and the slide rails 45a and 45b are movably provided until the main rail 91 and end surfaces 52a, 52b are joined with each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
