PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graphic recognition technique accepting inaccuracy of a drawing occurring when hand-drawing a graphic.SOLUTION: A hand-drawn graphic recognition device has: (1) means for detecting an operation input using an input object with respect to an operation input face as a coordinate point string; (2) a storage area where coordinate data of each coordinate point constituting the coordinate point string detected between detection of a down operation to detection of an up operation is associated with one object and stored; and (3) means for detecting a part in which the coordinate point string read out from the storage area highly densely appears and recognizing the part as a vertex position of the input object.
