PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new functional peptide-creating system by combining a DNA library having an NNK sequence, NNS sequence, or NNY sequence, with an in vitro peptide selection method using an RNA-binding protein; and to provide a new peptide obtained by the system. PSOLUTION: A new peptide-selecting system based on the interaction between a newly developed variant MS2 coat protein tandem dimer and a Cv motif is developed to a system for selecting the functional peptide from the DNA library having the completely random NNK sequence, NNS sequence or NNY sequence prepared by chemical synthesis.
