PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote performance of simple and effective data entry tasks while covering input errors when an operator performs the data entry tasks while viewing an image of a business form.;SOLUTION: A data entry system comprises: a character recognition part which reads out an image stored in an image storage part, extracts the read image along a character string, and creates a structure in which characters are associated with each other based on the image in an extracted area; a screen control part which displays a screen including a business form image and an input box to input characters written on the business form, on the display unit, and accepts a key input to the input box; and an entry support part which reads out a candidate of a character or a character string related to the accepted key input from the structure and displays the candidate as a conversion candidate in the input box.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
