PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide leather clothing which keeps the texture of leather and is manufactured without requiring a lining cloth.SOLUTION: A leather material 1 for clothing which is used for the leather clothing, includes: a dyed leather material 2; resin impregnation surfaces 3, 4 formed on both surfaces of the dyed leather material 2; and water-repellent resin layers 5, 6 coating the resin impregnation surfaces 3, 4. The leather material 2 is obtained by performing peel-off by prescribed thickness from a tanned leather part 22 after peeling off the silver surface part 21 and a split leather part 23 of tanned leather 20 obtained by tanning the natural leather base material of an animal. Both the surfaces are dyed after buffing. The leather material 1 for clothing after sewing is manually wrinkled after washing in water.
