PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for efficiently concentrating a guest molecule from a raw material solution. PSOLUTION: This method for concentrating the guest molecule of the clathrate compound is characterized by having a first process for producing the clathrate compound L1 on the outer surface of a heat exchanger 2 disposed in the solution L containing the host molecule of the clathrate compound as a solvent and the guest molecule as a solute and having a density different from that of the clathrate compound, thus growing into the massive product, a second process for fusing a part of the massive product from the outer surface of the heat exchanger 2 to release the un-fused portion of the massive product from the outer surface, and a third process for repeating the first process and the second process at least once more to unevenly distribute the un-fused portion in a specific region in the solution L on the basis of a density difference between the clathrate compound L1 and the solution L, thereby relatively enhancing the concentration of the guest molecule in the specific region.
