PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a replacement member contacting with primary cooling water in a nuclear power plant, capable of restraining a radioactive nuclide from being deposited, and to provide a replacement method for the replacement member. PSOLUTION: The replacement member formed with a ferrite coating film is used in this replacement member for the nuclear power plant replaced in place of a metal member contacting with the primary cooling water in a water-cooled nuclear plant. Alternatively, the metal member contacting with the primary cooling water in a water-cooled nuclear plant is removed from a prescribed position to attach the new metal member formed with the ferrite coating film on its surface to the prescribed position.
