PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for shortening a time necessary for a swaging process of a sensor holding case to enhance productivity and keeping down variation in a preload given to a piezoelectric sensor, and a gasket-type pressure sensor.;SOLUTION: Concerning an upper part 4 of an inner circumferential wall 3b of the sensor holding case 3 and an upper part 5 of an outer circumferential wall 3c thereof, with the piezoelectric sensor 7 built in the holding case 3, the swaging process is simultaneously done by using a dedicated die 14 with the preload given to the piezoelectric sensor 7. After a pre-swaging process for forming each of the upper parts 4 and 5 so as to be in a prescribed slant state, the swaging process is done by using a flat die 16 which is a replacement, and a regular swaging process is done for forming each of the upper parts 4 and 5 in the slant state so as to have a final shape, thereby enhancing the productivity of this gasket-type pressure sensor without a variation in preload.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
