PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for judging the confirmation necessity of an approval object electronic document to be used by an electronic approval device.;SOLUTION: This method for judging confirmation necessity of electronic document includes a read information reading step (1) for reading read information for judging whether or not a specific judgement object electronic document among approval object electronic documents has been already read from an already read information storage part; a reading judgement step (S2) for judging whether or not the judgement object electronic document has been already read on the basis of reading information; an update date information reading step (S3) for reading the update date information of the judgement object electronic document from a file information storage part; and a reconfirmation necessity judgement step (S4) for judging whether or not it is necessary to reconfirm the content of the judgement object, the electronic document, on the basis of the reading judgement result in the reading judgement step, reading information and update date information.
