PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the optimum control of the inclination of a vehicle body according to the traveling condition such as the radius of a curve and the traveling speed.;SOLUTION: In a method for performing the control of inclination of a vehicle body 1 of a railroad vehicle by supplying/exhausting air to/from an air spring 2 when the vehicle passes a curve, the preceding time to the inclination control starting time of the passing curve is determined by performing the interpolative computation with the centrifugal force as variables by using the optimum preceding time table obtained in advance based on the curve condition and the passing speed. By setting the optimum preceding time according to the radius of the curve and the traveling speed, the vehicle body inclination control capable of suppressing the operational delay as much as possible when the vehicle body is inclined can be realized under any traveling condition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
