PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by assigning more appropriate functions according to status or mode of operations.;SOLUTION: A mobile terminal in which a first body and a second body having a plurality of operation receiving means to receive operations from users are combined such that the two bodies can slide against each other, detects which of the status the terminal is in that is composed of: a closed status that the first body overlaps the second body so that all of the plurality of operation receiving means are hid under the upper body, an entirely-opened status that the first body is positioned apart from the second body so that all of the plurality of operation receiving means are exposed, a half-opened status that the first body partly overlaps the second body so that a part of the plurality of operation receiving means is exposed.
