PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make weft yarn unevenness (filing bars) generated accompanying with the switch of weaving conditions less conspicuous in a loom switching the weaving conditions while performing a weaving operation of the loom. PSOLUTION: This loom 1 equipped with a warp yarn-controlling device 22 for controlling the traveling of the warp yarn 2 during the operation of the loom by driving warp yarn-traveling members (wound roll 13 and warp yarn beam 3) and switching the weaving conditions accompanying with the renewal of a warp yarn insertion pick number is provided with that, for the warp yarn-controlling device 22, a correction amount for a speed command corresponding to the switch of the weaving conditions is set in advance, and on switching the weaving conditions during the weaving operation, from a correction-starting time set before the switching time point of the weaving conditions and by following the corrected amount, the speed command is temporarily corrected in a direction for dissolving the weft yarn density unevenness accompanying with the switch of the weaving conditions.
