PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying method which is used for carrying a hydrogen gas generated as resources using woody biomass to an energy consumption place.;SOLUTION: The woody biomass energy conversion process conducts the conversion treatment of woody biomass at the production region P, carries the resultant solid energy carrier S to the energy consumption place C and conducts the reconversion treatment at the energy consumption place C. Specifically, the conversion treatment is a treatment to convert the components produced by thermal decomposition of the woody biomass to the solid energy carrier with an iron oxide under the coexistence of the conversion material with the iron oxide.
