PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device for an auxiliary power feeder in an elevator type plating apparatus, by which the energizing state of the auxiliary power feeder of each hanger provided with a power feeder and the auxiliary power feeder is individually inspected.;SOLUTION: The elevator type plating apparatus, where each hanger for power feeding is held to a columnar carrier so as to be freely elevated, is provided with: power feed columns 31a, 31b for inspection, with which auxiliary power feed brushes 27 on the right and left sides of the auxiliary power feeder 19 in the hanger are touched when the hanger lowers to the vicinity of an inspection position, wherein one stopping position of each hanger is set as the inspection position; a power feed bar 32 for inspection with which a power feed brush 20 of a power feeder 18 in the hanger is touched when the hanger reaches the inspection position; and a voltage relay 36 outputting a signal when fixed electric current is made to flow from a power device between the power feed columns 31a, 31b for inspection and the power feed bar 32 for inspection, and the measured voltage between the both reaches a set value or above.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
