PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for predicting molten iron temperature in a blast furnace with which even under non-stationary state in the furnace, the predicted value of the molten iron temperature can quantitatively be obtained without lowering the accuracy. PSOLUTION: The method for predicting the molten iron temperature in the blast furnace comprises: a stationary-state predicting model constructing process for constructing the stationary-state predicting model for measuring the molten iron temperature at the stationary-state time from the operational data at the stationary-state time; a non-stationary-state predicting model constituting process for constituting the non-stationary-state predicting model for predicting the molten iron temperature at the non-stationary-state time from the above operational data at the non-stationary-state time as the change into the low-dimensionality from the stationary-state predicting model; and the molten temperature predicting process for predicting the molten iron temperature from the constituted stationary-state predicting model and the non-stationary-state predicting model.
