PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing dissolution of harmful trace elements from the combustion residue of coal.;SOLUTION: This method is for suppressing dissolution of harmful trace elements from the combustion residue of coal by adding a dissolution inhibitor to raw coal. As the dissolution inhibitor for adding to coal, a dissolution inhibitor whose main component is feldspar is used. In this case, preferably this dissolution inhibitor for adding to coal is added in the range of not less than 0.3 pt.mass and not more than 10 pts.mass to 100 pts.mass coal.
