PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unread/read management system of a shared article which can acquire change information in a read state of an article being browsed from a display form on the basis of determination either using sight or hearing of a user without managing article information etc. at a user side.;SOLUTION: In an unread/read management system of a shared article on a network which is browsable by a plurality of users, a server 1 is provided with a message subsystem as a subsystem which operates a read management database 5, and a user database 6, which discriminates changes of the read state of an article being browsed using "reference time", when an article with a "reference time", being the previous browsed period of the article, and has been already saved in the read management database 5, and is browsed again by a user registered in the user data base 6, and appeals to at least either sight or hearing according to the discriminated change of the read state of the article being browsed, and differentiates the display form of the article being browsed to be displayed on a user terminal 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
