PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a three layer process to manufacture a contact in a high transition temperature superconductor (HTSC), especially (Bi, Pb)₂Sr₂Ca₂Cu₃O_10+xwhich sometimes contains silver and sometimes contains no silver in a superconductor.;SOLUTION: The structure of the contact has punched silver foil (3) held between two silver layers (2, 5) stuck by a metal spray gun and three layer disposition subsequently accompanying heat treatment in the air. The contact is manufactured in a tube and a rod (1). This silver contact can continuously transport a current of 200 A without applying a practical thermal load to a freezing mixture used for cooling the HTSC. Contact resistance at 4.2 K in zero-applied-magnetic field is within a range of 1.5x10^-8 to 8.5x10^-8Ω.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
