PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for discriminating taste of food or cuisine which discriminates whether a user as an individual feels that a certain food or cuisine is tasty or not on the basis of his or her liking of taste and indicates the discrimination result to the user. ;SOLUTION: This system is provided with a user's taste liking data recording means which records data related to user's liking of taste of food or cuisine, a food or cuisine taste data recording means which records data related to tastes of foods or cuisines as sale or service objects, a discriminating means which discriminates whether the taste of a certain food or cuisine matches user's taste liking or not and the degree of congeniality indicating the degree of matching on the basis of user's taste liking data and food or cuisine taste data, and a discrimination result output means which outputs the discrimination result of this discriminating means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
