In the present invention, there is described an antibody binding specifically to an ovarian carcinoma protein O8E as well as its use in the preparation of a medicament intended for the treatment of ovarian carcinoma. Instead of the antibody, an antigen-binding fragment thereof can be used, as well. The antibody can be further conjugated to a toxin or a radionuclide.
