A covering device for stringed musical instrument tuning pegs and tuning machine knobs for the purpose of improving grip and leverage

The present invention relates to all stringed musical instruments that use tuning machines or tapered pegs at the headstock, such as guitar, in order to hold the strings in place and their appropriate musical tuning an/or key. In particular the invention provides a cover made from a flexible polymer or other suitable material of a suitable shape in which the rotatable knob of the tuning machine or peg is enclosed within, by use of a bivalve or hinged multi-component part or a single flexible push on piece. The invention allows for improved surface area and enhanced grip and leverage, thereby aiding musicians who may be elderly young or disabled. The tuning knobs can also be customised without affecting sound or playability. In addition the said invention can serve as a learning aid to teach string positions and string notes by the use of colours or annotation.
